CEUs Available: 1.5 Speaker: Katie Lamparyk, PsyD; Director of Clinical Training and Development; OhioGuidestone Description: The use of telehealth has increased significantly since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020. As providers and clients continue to utilize telehealth for service delivery it is important to utilize best practices for engaging specific populations through telehealth platforms. This training will provide recommendations for engaging youth and families using telehealth for service delivery, including crisis services. Participants will gain knowledge about building and maintaining rapport with youth and families through telehealth, associated benefits and limitations of providing treatment using telehealth, and understand best practices for services delivery through telehealth modalities.
