Governor DeWine Announces $84 Million Pediatric Behavioral Health Initiative |
On May 16, Governor Mike DeWine also announced the Pediatric Behavioral Health Initiative, an $84 million investment, to increase access to care and expand capacity across the state so kids and their families can get services and supports for their behavioral health needs in or near their communities. Using ARPA funds allocated in HB 168, the initiative will expand inpatient and outpatient behavioral health supports in several Ohio regions. - Akron Children’s Hospital: $7 million
- Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center: $10 million
- Dayton Children’s Hospital: $25 million
- ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital: $17 million
- University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s: $15 million
- Appalachian Children’s Coalition: Integrated Services for Behavioral Health: $6.45 million
- Appalachian Children’s Coalition: Hopewell Health Centers: $3.55 million
