FY 2022 State Opioid Response Grants Announced

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and SAMHSA recently announced the fiscal year 2022 State Opioid Response (SOR) grant funding opportunity that is estimated to provide nearly $1.5 billion in federal resources to states and territories to help address the ongoing opioid addiction and overdose epidemic. The continuation of the SOR program and related funding are critical tools in the Biden Administration’s National Drug Control Strategy released last month and HHS Overdose Prevention Strategy.
