FDA, CDC Back Second Booster Shot for People Over 50, Other At-Risk Groups

Late in the month, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) separately endorsed a second booster shot for older Americans and people in high-risk categories. Eligible recipients can get a second COVID-19 booster shot if it has been at least four months since their first booster, the FDA said.
