CDC Recommends COVID-19 Vaccines for Children Aged 6 Months to 5 Years |
The U.S. CDC announced June 18 that all children between the ages of six months and five years can now receive child doses of the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. The announcement expands vaccine eligibility to nearly 20 million additional children. Parents can reach out to their doctor, nurse, local pharmacy, or health department, or visit vaccines.gov to see where vaccines for children are available. Additionally, the Ohio Department of Health provided updated information and frequently asked questions regarding vaccines for infants and children.
