ARPA-HCBS Provider Relief Fund Distribution Update, Follow-Up Contacts

By now, all community behavioral health providers who are eligible to receive the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)-Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) relief funds should have gotten payments from their respective managed care organizations (MCOs). The Medicaid MCOs were required to send payment by May 4. CareSource sent payments to providers via EFT with most other MCOs sending payments via paper checks through the mail. Provider organizations can use the Department of Medicaid's HCBS-ARPA Payment lookup tool to check on how much they should expect.

If your organization is expecting ARPA-HCBS-payments but has not received a check from the MCOs, please use the following procedures to follow up on the payment process.

  • Buckeye Health Plan: If you have a question or do not receive your check from Buckeye, contact your assigned Provider Representative or call the Provider Services Team at 866-296-8731. If you do not receive a response, then contact Laura Paynter.
  • Molina: If you have questions specific to your Molina check, please call Provider Services at (855) 322-4079 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, email [email protected], or contact your Provider Services Representative. If you do not receive a response, then contact Deanna Putman.
  • Paramount: If you have questions or do not receive your check, reach out to your provider representative. If you do not receive a response, then contact Tanya Curtland.
  • United Healthcare: If you have a question or do not receive your check, reach out to your county’s assigned provider advocate. If you do not receive a response, then contact Amanda Gloeckner.
