Therapist Supervisor

Location: Working between our Middletown, Ohio and Lebanon, Ohio locations
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead a team of therapists delivering high-quality outpatient and community-based behavioral health services. The Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field (required).
  • Licensure: Independent licensure required (e.g., LISW, LPCC, IMFT).
  • Experience: Proven success supervising therapists in behavioral health.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic formulation, supervision/training, and crisis/brief intervention skills; excellent communication and organizational abilities; proficiency with EHR documentation; commitment to equity, ethics, and trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Supervision & Practice Excellence:
    • Provide weekly individual and/or group supervision consistent with Ohio and accrediting-body guidelines.
    • Promote ethical practice and clinical excellence across modalities (individual, family, group).
    • Ensure supervision procedures and team case staffings reflect CARF-aligned practices.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop therapists.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture; provide ongoing feedback and annual performance evaluations.
  • Quality, Compliance & Outcomes:
    • Monitor documentation quality and timeliness.
    • Maintain compliance with agency policy, accreditation and certification standards, payor requirements, and audit readiness.
    • Use outcome measures and program data to guide continuous improvement.
  • Operations & Collaboration:
    • Coordinate clinical coverage and caseload distribution.
    • Support time management and administrative expectations for direct service staff.
    • Collaborate with internal programs and external partners.
  • Direct Service (as needed):
    • Maintain a small clinical caseload (e.g., assessment, therapy, care coordination) to support program needs and model best practice.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000 to $64,000 depending on experience
