Community Mobile Team Clinician – Netcare Access: Columbus, OH

Job Description:
Mobile Crisis Clinician – Be the Calm in the Community

Are you a clinician who thrives outside of four walls and wants your work to make an immediate, life-changing impact?

Our Mobile Crisis Team provides on-the-ground mental health and substance use crisis support to individuals where they are — in homes, neighborhoods, and community settings. This team responds in real time to individuals experiencing emotional distress, psychiatric crises, or substance-related emergencies, offering compassionate, trauma-informed care when it matters most.

As a Mobile Crisis Clinician, you will assess, intervene, and stabilize individuals in crisis while helping connect them to the right level of ongoing care. You may also provide short-term follow-up support for up to 14 days, ensuring continuity, safety, and meaningful engagement beyond the initial crisis.

This role is ideal for clinicians who value clinical autonomy, teamwork, and purpose-driven work, and who want to be part of a program that prioritizes dignity, safety, and recovery.

What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to community-based mental health and substance use crises
  • Complete brief screenings, risk assessments, and crisis interventions
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, hospitals, and community partners
  • Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
  • Develop care recommendations and facilitate referrals to appropriate services
  • Support individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments

Why This Role Matters:

Every response is an opportunity to reduce harm, prevent hospitalization or incarceration, and help someone regain stability. Your clinical judgment, compassion, and presence directly impact lives — immediately and meaningfully.
