Dissemination Coordinator – NEOMED: Rootstown, OH

Summary:

Support the staff and consultant trainers in all areas of practice, implementation and dissemination. Coordinate logistics for training and related events including the preparation of event materials and communications.

Principal Functional Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Promotes activities of the office to appropriate stakeholders. Assists with the development, management and distribution of curriculum brochures, training materials, marketing and promotional materials. Review and maintain content for website, online learning management system (Canvas) and other information sharing platforms. Manage purchases and purchase card accounting/reporting.
  • Event Coordination & Logistical Planning: Coordinates all logistics and support for training events and stakeholder meetings including on-site support for conferences and workshops, coordination of all CE/CEU/CME applications, compliance and distribution of certificates for all training initiatives.
  • Partner Relationships & Information Management/Dissemination: Assists in developing program briefs, practice-specific updates, electronic resources and newsletters. Maintains mailing lists for all community stakeholders. Develops, expands and maintains a network of community contacts and provides ongoing communications to members of this network.
  • Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in education, public health, social work or related field.
  • Minimum one year of experience in two or more of the following: event planning and coordination, developing and designing publications or marketing materials, managing online resources, and outreach and client management or related activities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.

Department Specific Information:

  • The mission and vision of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Center of Excellence (CJ CCoE) is to assist communities in engaging in collaborative relationships between the mental health and criminal justice systems to divert and deflect individuals in crisis and with mental health issues to treatment, reducing the number of individuals with mental health issues that are unnecessarily engaged with the criminal justice system. The Dissemination Coordinator will be directly involved with Sequential Intercept Mapping workshops, Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) programs, and other technical assistance activities, including coordinating and maintaining all outreach and technical assistance materials for law enforcement, criminal justice practitioners, mental health providers, and advocates; event and meeting management, including scheduling, registration, advertising, reservations, materials preparation, etc., pre and post event communication with attendees, real time support for staff/consultants/trainers/speakers, coordination of travel for staff consultants/trainers/speakers, attendance tracking; assists with gathering reporting information for other CJ CCoE staff. This position involves in-state travel for events and out-of-state travel as needed. Experience working within the fields of mental health, criminal justice, and/or collaborative community partnerships is highly preferred.

Starting Pay Rate Range: $17.59 - $20.81, Commensurate with experience.
