Job Description:
Concord Counseling Services seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing and coding, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Must have working knowledge claims submission to third party payers
• Must have a working understanding of basic financial concepts, application / posting of payments with proper use of accounting dates, and daily balancing of posted payments.
• Knowledge of both billing and the electronic medical records system to identify and correct potential billing problems that would delay or prevent reimbursement of services.
• Must have a working understanding of the credentialing process, contracts, and revalidation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and insurance billing procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
