The School Based Therapist provides school-based behavioral health services for students and the families within the Greenleaf Center network of districts, making a positive difference in their lives. Services include, but are not limited to, the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients with mental and emotional disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive and clinically accurate diagnostic assessments
- Develop the most appropriate treatment and service plans, appropriate to the client’s diagnosis.
- Balance a client and solution-focused service culture within the agency’s financial budget constraints.
- Maintain updated clinical licensure and completion of CEU requirements.
- Continue to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships inside and outside of the organization.
- Attend school-based meetings as appropriate to enhance the quality of case management support for school-based clients.

- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness of diversity issues with all clients and in all communications.

Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s Degree (or Master’s Degree in progress) in Social Work, Counseling, or related field,
- License to practice; CT, LSW, LPC, or MFT.
- Knowledge and experience of the diagnosis and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders utilizing evidence-based programs and practices.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is of essence.

- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written skills.
