Administrative Marketing Coordinator - Ohio Peer Recovery Organizations: Columbus, OH

POSITION: Marketing Coordinator

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Executive Director
UNIT: Ohio Peer Recovery Organizations
WORK DAYS: Monday - Friday as Assigned
WORK HOURS: 40 hours per week as scheduled
WORK SITE: Remote or as assigned, must live in central Ohio within a commutable distance from OhioPRO offices

POSITION FUNCTION:

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Administrative and Marketing Coordinator provides support on all administrative matters including, but not limited to schedule management, Board meeting supports, clerical matters, Board meetings, schedule management, event coordination and planning, event support, along with assisting with coordination of agency marketing and fundraising activities. This position also provides communication to and support for the OhioMHAS Peer Service Delivery Grant deliverables, specific to processing of funding requests and logistics planning for related events, symposiums, etc.    

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLOWING):

  1. Provide administrative/clerical support
  2. Responsible for maintaining electronic filing system and all record-keeping
  3. Provide administrative support to Board of Directors at meetings, as assigned, which may include taking and preparing meeting minutes
  4. Compose and edit office documents including correspondence, memoranda, agendas, reports and presentations
  5. Assist with the development and oversight of database and tracking systems
  6. Produce annual and other reports
  7. Produce all marketing materials form graphic design to written content
  8. Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to implementation
  9. Coordinate all social media communications and activities
  10. Manage OhioPRO website which includes updating dynamic content to managing backend functional components.  Monitor Google analytics
  11. Coordinate, schedule, and plan peer support trainings and other peer events
  12. Produce and distribute certificates of attendance to training participants
  13. Assist in planning statewide conferences, retreats, and other events (form registration to sourcing and catering) and managing contracts related to the same
  14. Conduct outreach to speakers, presenters, sponsors, and vendors for conferences, and other events
  15. Assist with fundraising activities
  16. Attend conferences sponsored by OhioPRO to distribute informational/marketing materials
  17. Assist in building strategic relationships with community partners
  18. Demonstrate professional conduct at all times
  19. Reliable and predictable attendance is required
  20. Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ideal candidates will be a person with a lived experience and in long-term recovery from a mental health disorder, substance use disorder, and/or co-occurring disorder.

  • Excellent communications skills (both oral and written communication) and adaptable communications style
  • Independently motivated, goal driven, and results-oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Be empathetic to the peer community, and to the needs of both peers and peer run organizations
  • Must have reliable transportation and be licensed to drive in state of Ohio.
  • Proficient with marketing-related software programs
  • Ability to learn use of secure systems
  • Skilled at time management of both self and others
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills services
  • Proficient with software programs/applications including Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) Canva, WordPress, Keynote, Zoom, Constant Contact (or like programs),  LastPass (or like programs), Survey Monkey, etc.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing and administrative support
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree plus two years of related work experience or 4 years of related work experience.
