The Director, Behavioral Health Compliance and Quality Assurance is key in providing direct oversite of our compliance team and effectively interfacing with internal and external customers to meet goals and exceed expectations.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Lead all compliance/accreditation review processes and activities
  • Interface with certification and regulating agencies and local boards
  • Work closely with Coleman leadership and staff regarding audits and client rights issues
  • Maintain and publish Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure compliance to all laws and compliance standards
  • Provide oversight and supervision of compliance staff members
  • Provide consultation on HIPAA and update policies and procedures
  • Ensure staff continually measure and assess services and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement remediation plans 

What qualifications will you need to be a successful Director, Behavioral Health Compliance and Quality Assurance?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Familiarization with licensure and accreditations in Joint Commission
  • Minimum of two year’s related experience in client’s rights as Compliance Officer
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to our services •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to compile and analyze data
  • Clinical licensure (LPC/LPCC, LSW/LISW, or LPN/RN)
  • Two years supervisory experience 

Preference given to the following candidates:

  • Master’s Degree level candidates
  • Over 3 years of experience with Joint Commission
