Regional Clinical Director

SUMMARY

The Regional Director of Clinical Services works under the supervision of the Executive Vice President of Clinical Services and is responsible for designing and implementing client services that addresses the Talbot Health Services mission and ensures that are provided in a manner consistent with the organization’s vision and values. 

This is a salaried position and as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor is categorized as a/an XXXX position. As such, this position is classified as exempt under the Wage and Hour Division of the Fair Labor Standards Act. 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION Required

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or other closely related human service field• LISW, LPCC
  • Extensive experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience 

Preferred

  • LISW-S, LPCC-S
  • CPR Certification
  • CPI Certification 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, in conjunction with the management team, proposed objectives, staffing patterns and needs for clinical services.
  • Implement year-round programming that addresses client need and meets all applicable standards.
  • Provide managerial oversight to all team members assigned to the program.
  • Ensure all direct service staff assigned to the program are provided with supervision.
  • Recommend a system of programming for achieving budget goals and assuring quality of care by adhering to relevant best practices and state-mandated requirements.
  • Work with other Talbot Health Services staff to identify program development and growth opportunities. pg. 27.
  • Ensure that treatment decisions are made in the best interest of the client.
  • Provide and document individual and group supervision.
  • Provide and document clinical services as needed.
  • Conduct annual and introductory evaluations of all employees and contractors, as applicable.
  • Manage hiring, evaluations and terminations in consult with Human Resources.
  • Implement the agency’s productivity standards to ensure program viability.
  • Achieve personal productivity goals as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain community relationships with stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate by supervisor.

  • Ability to learn and utilize the agency’s electronic tools effectively and efficiently within 30 days of hire.

  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively function as an agency team member.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Possess and demonstrate effective organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrate the ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment.
