As a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA), you will provide diagnostic assessments, develop person-centered treatment plans, and facilitate individual and group counseling. The CDCA will collaborate with internal resources including our detox and SUD residential facilities, case managers, therapists, peer recovery supporters, our medical department, mental health and crisis services, vocational services, behavioral health urgent care, as well our housing department. External resources include but are not limited to probation, parole, specialty docket courts, children services, local physicians, hospitals, and other community partners.

This position will provide services in our outpatient and inpatient programs. Must be able to communicate effectively in written and oral form. 

Qualifications include:

A Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant Credential in the state of Ohio. Must have current Ohio Driver’s License with acceptable driving record, current vehicle insurance and provide own transportation to offsite locations.
