Community Counseling Center of Ashtabula County is a non-profit behavioral health provider focused on engaging the community in recovery. 

CCC has an immediate, full-time position available for a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) PROJECT DIRECTOR whose responsibilities are to expand access to comprehensive and coordinated behavioral healthcare, with a focus on groups facing health disparities in Ashtabula County. 

This position is eligible for a signing bonus of up to $4000.

The CCBHC Project Director position details are: 


Master’s Degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Counseling, Social Work or similar field. 


LISW, LPCC or Psychologist License preferred. The position requires a valid driver’s license, driving infractions within the last three (3) years subject to the Agency Employee Handbook and no DUI/OVI, drug, theft or felony charges in the past; reliable transportation; and adequate levels of insurance and insurability. 


Experience with project management processes and tools preferred. Two years or more of change management experience in behavioral healthcare setting. Must have demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in managing effective service delivery systems to meet the needs of clients with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, substance use disorder, and those with co-occurring disorders.

Technology competency is necessary and knowledge of quality data management tools required. Experience utilizing SAMHSA grant reporting platforms preferred. 


Dictated by client, project, and/or agency needs. Full-time salaried position with flexible, hybrid schedule of in-person and virtual service provision. Schedule can be flexible as long as this workforce member is able to attend meetings as required, and meet the key performance indicators identified within the project. 


The CCBHC Project Director reports directly to the CEO and oversees the implementation and development of a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), expanding access to comprehensive and coordinated behavioral healthcare, with a focus on groups facing health disparities in Ashtabula County. The Director is responsible for coordinating a wide range of system changes including care coordination, integrated care, supervision, program development, outcome measurement and quality of care in the delivery of trauma-informed, mental health and substance use disorder services.
