Preferable licensure for this position is:

Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Allied Health Professional 

As the Managed Care Care Coordination Administrator in the Bureau of Clinical Operations, Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising a team of care coordination staff
  • Assessing and monitoring care coordination services provided by ODM's contracted Managed Care Organizations (MCO), that includes acting as a liaison to the care coordination programs within Ohio RISE.
  • Assisting in the development of innovative program initiatives designed to improve access to health services for special populations (i.e. individuals with chronic conditions, the elderly and disabled populations, children with special health care needs, high risk pregnant women)
  • Assisting with the coordination of policy and program planning by researching care coordination delivery systems within a population health model and provide feedback on findings
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting data and reports and provide recommendations for follow up activities related to MCO and Ohio RISE performance
  • Developing care management policies and procedures
  • Assisting in the development of care coordination oversight activities including the development of administrative reports
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across a variety of departments, levels, state agencies, and MCOs to improve care coordination services for the individuals served by ODM.
