We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Emergency Services Therapist (on-call) to support our clients in the Fairborn, Ohio area. This position provides direct crisis intervention services to adults, youth and adolescents on an on-call or relief basis to supplement after-hours coverage.

  1. Provides hot line service, crisis intervention (includes short-term crisis-focused therapy), and mobile response services under clinical supervision within the limits of services permitted by license and scope of practice.
  2. Performs triage to determine clinical necessity and make appropriate referral decisions.
  3. Serves as a consultant to hotline staff, clinicians, third party callers, and other agency staff in emergency and/or threatening situations.
  4. Provides crisis intervention assessments and safety planning.
  5. Coordinates immediate referrals when needed to local resources; i.e. emergency department, crisis stabilization, withdrawal management, or other agencies. 



Bachelors Degree or higher in behavioral health field 


One year experience in mental health services 


LPC or LSW; First Aid; CPR; De-escalation. Must obtain approval by Mental Health and Recovery Board to be a Health Officer and attend required annual trainings. Other: Meets all standards and regulations of the Counselor and Social Worker Board of the State of Ohio. Demonstrated competencies for working with populations served.
