OHIO GPRA Specialist (Multiple Locations: Summit County, Clark, Green, Madison and Wood County) Ascent powered by Sober Grid is growing! We are seeking a part-time GPRA Specialist for Summit County SAMHSA Ohio grantees receiving SOR funding are required to collect and report performance data using the designated Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) Client Outcomes Measures for Discretionary Programs Tool. This tool is used to survey clients seeking opioid use disorder treatment and collect data to be entered into State of Ohios online portal.   

The GPRA Specialist is someone who is in long term recovery and will be available to onboard people into the program on site at the providers, conduct interviews by telephone or in-person with SOR clients during distinct data collection points. SOR clients will be provided with incentives in the form of gift cards at each data collection point. While this work is flexible, it requires you to make contact with SOR clients during day-time hours, evenings and weekends. Since the data collection requires consistent follow up with clients and requires the GPRA Specialist to ask the clients about particularly sensitive topics, individuals who are familiar or already work with this population are well suited to complete the follow-up data collection.   

Position Emphasis Responsibilities for GPRA Specialists include:  

  • Establish relationships with providers and spend in the facility to onboard peers into the program.  
  • Coordinate and conduct follow-up interviews with SOR clients  
  • Enter GPRA data into Ohio online reporting system  
  • Track attempted contacts and completed interviews  
  • Build and maintain relationships with peers  
  • Handle sensitive health information  
  • Secure and track incentives  
  • Communicate with Implementation Specialist Manager  
  • Effectively Participate in regular check-in meetings with Implementation Specialist Manager (frequency TBD) in person or via video conferencing  
  • Provide regular reports on data collection and entry status  

Minimum Qualifications:   

Experience in casework/case management and experience working with highly vulnerable populations. Ability to pass a background check.   

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • In long term recovery Training and background in Trauma-Informed Practices, specifically Trauma Informed Interviewing  
  • Training in Narcan/Naloxone administration  
  • Data entry experience  
  • Competencies Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches to data collection  
  • Ability to work remotely Ability to travel extensively within assigned region - car required  
  • Ability to work autonomously  
  • Highly organized  
  • Attention to detail  
  • Demonstrated work with vulnerable populations

Part-time Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
