Regional Manager- Foster Care (Toledo Area)

National Youth Advocate Program - Columbus, OH


This individual would be over the Toledo region which includes our Toledo, West Unity, and Lima, OH locations. Behavioral health and foster care are the clinical focuses at these offices. We are seeking engaging, passionate, diverse and energized leaders with a can-do attitude!



The Regional Manager will perform duties including, but not limited to: Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies. Actively support, represent, and extend the mission of the organization through program management, direct service, customer contacts, and all other assigned functions. Maintain ongoing contact with referral partners through personal visits, phone calls, and written communication to assure that positive relationships exist and customer service needs are met. Direct regional quality advancement efforts to assure that service quality meets contract requirements, internally established measures and outcomes, and standards required of regulatory bodies. Support all staff in accomplishing monthly, quarterly, and annual productivity goals including Medicaid revenue projections and new foster home licensing targets. Develop and implement strategies for increasing and maintaining foster care capacity to ensure quarterly and annual recruitment goals are achieved.



Master’s Degree in Social Services or other human service field. 3 years of supervisory experience in child welfare or social services. Current independent Social Work License (LISW) or counseling (LCPC) license. Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.



Must be able to function both independently and as a team. Must be able to efficiently multi-task and be flexible in all situations. Must have effective communication skills including verbal and written skills. Demonstrate strong leadership abilities. Must be open to travel as needed. Must be open to working non-traditional hours as needed. The person in this position needs to follow a team concept and support both agency goals and co-workers. Employees must be able to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.
