TCN Behavioral Health Services, Inc., a Non-Profit Organization, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Team Leader Mental Health and Substance Abuse Division.


Work Location and Standard Work Hours:

  • TCN Behavioral Health Services, Kettering, Ohio
  • Full-time Some evenings and weekends may be required


Primary Responsibilities Therapist Role:

  • Provides individual, group, family, and couples psychotherapy under administrative supervision that meets productivity and quality requirements set by the Agency and that is within the limits of services permitted by license and scope of practice.
  • Provides diagnostic assessments under administrative supervision that meet productivity and quality requirements set by the Agency.
  • Meets or exceeds standards pertaining to services provided.
  • Meets or exceeds standards pertaining to assessments and documentation.
  • Develops and maintains quality, accurate clinical charts for all clients served.
  • Develops and maintains positive collaboration with other social service agencies serving clients. Provides consultation if needed.


Internship Coordinator Role:

  • Supports TCN Behavioral Health Services, Inc. in assisting students with fulfilling internship and/or practicum requirements.
  • Leads efforts in planning, coordinating, and evaluating the program to enhance the student’s experience.
  • Works with interns’ supervisors to ensure the correct processes are in place and utilized.
  • Works with human resources to ensure interns are properly on-boarded.
  • Partners with the clinical staff to meet capacity requirements of the program without affecting the client experience.
  • Develops benchmarks for the intern/practicum program and provides recommendations for improvements.
  • Develops relationships and serves as the point of contact with local colleges/universities.
  • Contributes to overall employment engagement efforts.


Community Liaison Role:

  • Attendance at public events and engagements which require a TCN presence, including, but not limited to speaking engagements, leading to increasing the awareness of the Agency.
  • Collaboration with the community, and the local universities to develop a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Outreach coordination and recommendations to underserved populations.
  • Provide training to the TCN staff to best represent the agency when conducting community outreach.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Provides quality clinical and administrative supervision to designated staff members. The clinical supervision will meet the requirements of the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board and the Counselor and Social Worker Board of the State of Ohio.
  • Ensures that the 100% of subordinates within the unit meets or exceeds their expected monthly and annual productivity expectations as demonstrated by the units¿ respective quarterly evaluation scores.
  • Establishes and monitors corrective plans for individual clinicians who are deficient in one or more of the following: Productivity; Documentation; Behavior
  • Monitors subordinates’ documentation and paperwork and ensures the clinical accuracy of documentation to a degree of at least 80% as evidenced by random sampling performed by the CQI/Compliance Officer.
  • Ensures subordinates¿ attendance at all required in-services, trainings, and mandatory meetings.
  • Enforces 100% compliance with all Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services/MHRB and the ADAMHS boards’ standards as measured by CQI/Compliance reviews.


Required Education, Certifications, and/or Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field ¿ Independent Licensure of LISW-S, LPCC-S or Psychologist
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in mental health treatment services


Preferred Education Certifications, and/or Experience:

  • Eligibility for private insurance paneling is a plus
  • CPR/First Aid Certifications, De-escalation
  • TCN will provide upon hire
